Coming Out Stories by the Campfire

Did you know October 11th is National Coming Out Day? All over the country, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) individuals will gather to recognize and celebrate the journey of declaring their sexual orientation or gender identity to the people in their world. The first National Coming Out Day was celebrated on October 11, 1988, in Washington, D.C. and even though it’s been over 30 years since the first coming out day, sharing coming out stories still matters today.
This Pride, celebrate National Coming Out Day by the campfire with @Rolanda_show. Listen to her story and hear other powerful coming out stories told by LGBTQ+ Christians. Bring your lawn chairs, snacks and the s'mores will be on @newcovenantatl
The theme: Coming Out Still Matters.
Join me, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. at New Covenant Church of Atlanta. Register here.
